“Raising A People that will Please God through The Word of Faith and taking the Healing Power of God all across The Globe”
OUR LOGO DEFINED
At Great Light, the Man of God teaches comprehensive message, which is doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Word of God is the foundation of this ministry. As in 1 Timothy 3:15, “But if I tarry long that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in The House of God, which is the Church of The Living God, the pillar and ground of truth”). John 1:1 “In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” Isaiah 9:8 “The Lord sent a Word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.”
Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”. Jeremiah 48:40 “For thus saith the Lord; Behold, he shall fly as an eagle, and shall spread his wings over Moab”. Exodus 19:4 “Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.”
Globe is the symbol of the world, and God told The Man of God to raise a people of faith that will please Him through The Word of Faith, and take the healing power of God all across the globe. Great Light is a global ministry!!! God has constantly told The Man of God that He shall take him all around the globe with the gospel of Christ. Mark 16:15-16 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” John 15:16 “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Isaiah 61:1-3 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.”
Why the Light?
Jesus said in John 8:12 “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” Just as it was said in the Old Testament “The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined” Isaiah 9:2, Jesus also said in Matthew 4:16 “The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.” Isaiah 9:8 “The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.” Matthew 5:14 “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” Isaiah 2:5 “O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.”
THE MESSAGE/THE WORD OF GOD
Please know that the message taught at Great Light is like no other you have ever heard before, even though it may sound familiar to what you have heard before. Sometimes, the message offends people who have different theological backgrounds or knowledge about God, Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit. The message here is inspired by The Holy Spirit of God alone so it is undiluted and you may find it difficult to comprehend it sometimes or all the time until you pray and ask The Holy Spirit to help your heart to receive it with understanding. You may also find that some parts of the message may be harsh, too blunt or too raw, especially if you are coming from an apologetic preaching church or where sin and iniquities are not bluntly addressed.
Our Prophet, The Man of God delivers comprehensive knowledge of and about God, drawing his sources from both Old and New Testaments. Also, if you are from a place where everything goes, you may find the structure of Great Light a bit structured and strict. Through this approach of ministration lives are being truly transformed through the unadulterated Word of God as evidenced by uncountable breakthroughs, testimonies and deliverances. Like in everything else you need to spend time to understand why the message and the structure is the way it is.
